In this space, we will take a break from our daily worries and self-conscious thoughts. We will become more aware of our bodies and minds. We will attempt to let go of the ways we hold ourselves back through breathing exercises and dance. And finally, we will look to ourselves amongst others to find a more balanced and self-honest way of going about our daily lives.
Dance Meditation Theatre is brought to you by Ella & Martins - a dynamic duo of complementary opposites. Ella is a space holder, trained yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator and Reiki Master while Martins is an Electronic musician/DJ, Improv theatre performer and works in the field of technology and mental health. Sharing a passion for dance, exploration and self-discovery, together they create a space of order and chaos in which you can let go of your anxieties and start to access the life force present in all of us.
What to expect:
Introduction - how the nervous system works etc.
Clothing - comfortable to move in.
No prior dance or mindfulness practice experience is necessary to attend this event.
We will ask you to leave your phones and cameras.
